In 2019, we embarked on a life-changing mission—to bring quality education and hope to the children of Kawolokota Village, Kayonza Subcounty, Kayunga District. Before our school was established, many children in this community had no solid educational foundation. They started school as late as seven years old, struggled to read and write, and soon lost interest. Teenage pregnancies were common, and school dropout rates were alarmingly high.
But we refused to let this cycle continue. We started this school to motivate, inspire, and equip young learners with the skills they need for a brighter future. Over the years, we have seen remarkable transformations—our first group of students, now in Primary Five, have joined other schools and are excelling. They are leading in their classes, expressing themselves confidently, and two have even been elected head boys—a true testament to the strong foundation and leadership training we provide.
Today, parents and children in our community are more motivated than ever. The desire for education is growing, but our limited funds and few classrooms prevent us from enrolling more children. So many children are still crying for a chance to learn.
